Getting Involved (for Texas A&M students)

The first way to get involved in Texas A&M SAE Aero is through membership.

Our applications typically take place in March and our application process has two parts:

1. Submit a Resume & Fill out Application

2. Formal interview process (if selected)

Members will be selected for Regular and Micro class. The application will be posted on this page as well as emailed out to certain majors (aero & mech). Applications are open to anyone.

There is another way to get involved with Texas A&M SAE Aero. It is great for freshmen or anyone that is seeking to gain experience.

The SAE offers an apprenticeship program that allows students to work directly with Aero members and gain hands-on experience in design and manufacturing. Applications for the program will usually open during September. Applicants will have to submit a resume, and selected candidates will go through a formal interview process. Participating in the apprenticeship program will increase your chances during full-member applications in the spring.
